I designed this hat to be extra warm with an inner layer of insulation, which makes a cool 2-tone gridded color effect. The sizes can be further adjusted to fit babies or giants by adjusting the hook and/or yarn sizes used. The instructions are written to be simple and easy to follow, so I hope that will be your experience. I would recommend having some crochet experience before attempting the pattern.
