The Irises Scarf is the third pattern in my Van Gogh-inspired series of crochet patterns. Van Gogh’s Irises painting is one of his most well-known paintings, rich in vibrant colors of violet and green.

The Irises Scarf is crocheted with a beautiful floral lace pattern for the body of the scarf with another lacy stitch pattern for the edging on each end of the scarf. The stitch patterns for this scarf are really fun and interesting to crochet. The lace pattern looks complex, but it is actually an easy three-row repeat for the body of the scarf, and an easy one-row repeat for the end edging.

The Irises Scarf is quick to crochet making it perfect for gift giving. I crocheted my Irises Scarf in colors similar to the painting, but you should pick your favorite colors to create your own masterpiece!
