Build drama into your knitting with hand-dyed yarns. Here, garter stitch lets wildly contrasting colors work their magic, with a line of lacy diamonds down the back and tiny eyelets along the edging.

Difficulty Easy

Finished Size 58” wide and 27” tall.

Yarn Madelinetosh Tosh Sock: black velvet, 2 skeins.

Needles Size 6 (4 mm): 32” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers; tapestry needle.

Gauge 17 sts and 42 rows = 4” in garter st.

Notes This shawl is worked from the bottom up, with increases at the beginning and end of each right-side row to create the triangle shape.
