What you will need:
* any fingering weight yarn, for your reference I used Malabrigo Sock in impressionist sky # 806, 100% superwash merino wool, 3.5 oz/ 440 yds (100 g / 440 mt):
1 skein or approx 219 (240, 262) yds / 200 (220, 240) m

  • any sport weight yarn in contrasting color: small amount
  • size US 2½ (3mm) and US 4 / 3.5mm (working needle) at least 26”- 30” / 80 cm long circulars or DPNs, or size to obtain correct gauge

Tapestry needle for weaving in ends and sewing button
BOR marker
spare dpn in smaller size then working needles for pleats
cable needle
¼” / 1 cm button

Gauge:
29 sts x 36 rows = 4”(10cm) in cable patt on US 4 (3.5mm) needles.
