‘Jaleo’ are the encouraging words and calls shouted at flamenco dancers them while they are performing, and this flamenco-inspired shawlette is packed with loud texture and lively patterns. Mostly made from garter stitch, this half-circle shawl utilizes a few simple stitches to create a complex look that is easy enough for the moderate beginner, yet interesting enough for the advanced knitter.

-US 5 (3.75 mm) needles (at least 14” long)
-One US 9 (5.5 mm) needle (any kind)
-1 skein Lion Brand Sock Ease, color: Lollipop (or about 420 yards of -any other fingering weight wool)
