This “Tee” shaped, large-gauge, ribbed knit is worked up quickly, in one piece, with nearly-seamless construction from the bottom-up.

The bodice of the sweater is worked back and forth in rows to the underarm. The fronts and back sections are worked separately to the neck. The collar is stitched in garter with live stitches that were held on stitch holders. After the shoulder seams are sewn, the sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round using an easy lace stitch and are finished with a few rows of garter.

Cardigan is meant to be worn open. If desired, I would suggest a toggle style button either at the top only, or evenly arranged down the front.

3 (3, 4) skeins Berroco Espresso - Super Chunky

Gauge 10 sts and 14 rows / 4” in Stockinette (A slightly larger gauge than manufacturer’s suggested, for a looser look)
