Jennybec is a classic addition to any fall or winter wardrobe. It is worked with a provisional cast-on and then knitted flat until both ends of the piece are grafted together using the Kitchener stitch. Phototutorial links are provided for provisional cast-on and Kitchener stitch.

Both written and charted instructions are given.

Finished Measurements: Approximately 11” x 45” (27.94 cm x 114.3 cm)

Yarn: 400 yards of worsted weight. Shown using Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage 200 yd/183 m per 100 g skein; color Maple Leaf, 2 skeins.

Gauge: 18 sts/24 rows = 4”/10 cm in pattern after blocking. Gauge is not critical for this project, but will affect the size.

Needles: US#8/5.0 mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions: Crochet hook, waste yarn, and tapestry needle.
