This lacy looking cowl is worked in eight contrasting colors of fingering weight yarn. There are two options for length 32” or 64”, short version is shown.

It is a relaxing knit in mainly stockinette stitch with a simple chevron stitch and mosaic (slipped stitches) design.

Skills: Basic knit, purl, M1, sl 1-k2tog-psso, slipping stitches, working from a chart or written instructions.
Yarn: Stunning String Studio’s Stunning Superwash (100% superwash Merino, 475 yds (434 m), 100 grams);

Needles: US 7 (4.50 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular needle; or size required to obtain gauge.
Gauge: In pattern stitch, 27 rows = 4” (10 cm), and each repeat is 3.25” (8 cm) wide when blocked. Although gauge is not critical, it will affect overall size and yarn requirements.
Sizes: Blocked measurements - short long: 12” wide x 32 64” long (30 cm wide x 81 163 cm long)
Other: 4 Stitch Markers, tapestry needle.
