This cardigan is worked from the top down, in one piece. The sleeves are picked up at the armholes and worked top down, and in the round. The in-set pockets work with the lines formed by the accent color. There are two front pockets and one secret pocket hidden in the cuff.

Worked with a bulky yarn, the Jewel Cardigan works well as a Fall or Spring Jacket as well as a cozy winter cardigan. The shape is slightly A-line; slightly fitted at the shoulder with increases along the side that allow for a flattering fit over the hips.
