Jotunheim is a quick and elegant knit that features an easy lace pattern with a twisted-stitch cable. Sport weight yarn makes it light enough for the transition from winter to spring, but warm enough for the last snow.

A singles or 3-or-more ply yarn is recommended for this pattern as 2-ply yarn will make the cables look flat.

This cowl is part of my series Among the Æsir, a collection of accessories inspired by the Norse gods and their world.

Jotunheim is where the frost giants and the mountain giants wander and live and have their halls….In Jotunheim, the home of the giants, is Mimir’s well. It bubbles up from deep in the ground, and it feeds Yggdrasil, the world tree…
