Pyntestrømpa du ikke visste du trengte før strikkemønsteret var her; din helt egen håndstrikka julepynt.

________

This is the sock you didn’t know you needed before you saw there was a pattern for it! Even better, it is in knit in DK weight yarn on large needles without a heel and as there is only one you will never suffer from second sock syndrome! Quite the knitter’s Advent gift, isn’t it?

Knit bottom-up so the stitches are placed the right way, the sock starts with Judy’s Magic Cast-On, before working the chart then finish with a Latvian braid. No need to sew in the yarn ends either – just make a decorative braid from them.

Place it on a door, on the wall, a cupboard filled with nice twigs or a few Christmas flowers for a sweet decoration.

You’ll need approx. 30 grams / 1 ounce in each color.

You’ll find the English pattern over at Rachel Atkinson’s advent blog, mylifeinknitwear.com
