This pattern has its own history. It’s made with inspiration from a Swedish dish we eat at Christmas, sillsallad. It is a cold salad consisting among others of beetroots, potatoes, apples and our Swedish herring. With it, we eat whipped cream with a little color from the beets - the pink stripes!

Gauge is not too important since this is not a fitted garment.

The pattern includes both an English and a Swedish version and will be free until Januari 15 2013.
