Acer Palmatum “Kamagata” is one of my favourite Japanese maples. The spring and summer foliage is light green with red edges. The fall colour is reliable and bright orange red. The fall foliage is the inspiration for this design.

The gloves are worked in the round from the cuff up. Instructions are given for 2 circular needles, but dpn’s or magic loop may be substituted.

Beads are optional.

The sample took half a skein of the yarn.

Both charts as well as written instructions are included.
