The inspiration for these knitted slipper socks comes from many sources and from a pair I owned. Slippers like these can be seen across the Middle East (my Lebanese family) as well as USA, Canada, South America, Northern & Eastern Europe, North Africa and the UK (my ready-made pair came from the Lake District with local wool and sheepskin soles) . The motifs are completely original and easy and fun to knit. The suede makes these slippers non slip and safe for children.
