Keady Wrap marks a milestone – my 100th pattern!
Appropriately, Keady is an Anglicized form of the Gaelic name, Céadaigh, from céad, or 100. The pattern features all my favourite elements – colour, engaging knitting, and a practical finished piece. Start by choosing three colours of your favourite fingering weight yarn and have fun with colour blocking. The interesting construction plays with geometry and shaping while simple eyelets and relaxing garter make for an easy knit. A clever finishing step gives you a long wrap with tapered ends, a wearable shape that is both cosy and elegant.
