Kenzie Legwarmers
These legwarmers work up quickly, with a nice texture given by simple stitches. They are worked in the round. You can adjust the pattern making it bigger or smaller accordingly. If you are adjusting the size, make sure the amount of chain stitches you start off with is an even number. To make a custom or fitted legwarmer, measure your calf at its widest point. I find that instead of using a sewing tape measure, it is easier to use your beginning chain to make this measurement. For example if you chain 40, take that chain and wrap it around the widest part of your calf, if it touches start working, if not chain more (ending in an even amount) until your base chain fits around your calf, and less if it is too big.
