♫ The Music ♫
The Kesh Jig is a sprightly, traditional Irish jig ~ a favourite tune at many a Session; the toe-tapping music is sure to set your feet a-dancing.

Pattern Notes
A lovely combination of single-stitch and lace cables graces both the front and back leg and the instep of these top-down socks.

The socks begin with a delicate, lacy shell border and immediately start into the cable pattern. The heel is a Dutch or square-heel style and the heel flap is worked in the Eye of Partridge pattern. Once the heel is turned using short rows, stitches are picked up along each side of the heel flap to continue working the foot. The cable and lace pattern continues on the instep while the sole is worked in Stockinette. The socks finish with a wedge toe where the remaining stitches are grafted.

Both chart and written directions for the chart are provided.
