Kimball is a full crescent shawl with a varied, and therefore innocuous set of increases. At the border there are strategic short-rows to create a zig-zag and lace scallops.

In the striped version, I used about 415 yards of the MC and 350 of the CC. In the speckle gradient set I used about 525 yards of the MC and 240 of the CC edge.
