Named after an unusual old tale by Robert W. Chambers, this cowl uses one unusual skein of Malabrigo Rasta in an unusual lace pattern that zigs and zags in unusual ways, closed with a single unusual button. Anything usual about this cowl at all? I’m afraid not.

Finished Measurements:
21” long, 7” wide

Materials:
1 skein Malabrigo Rasta (100% merino, 90yds / 150g) color Laguna Negra
US size 13 (9.0 mm) needles or size needed to get gauge
2 large buttons - one to be worn on the outside and a smaller, plainer button to be worn on the inside
strong thread for binding the buttons together

Gauge:
about 3 sts and 4 rows = 1” in lace pattern after blocking
