This triangular shawl has been written to allow for people to use different sizes of yarn and needles, you can even knit it in acrylic. It can be thick and warm or lacy and delicate.

The pattern is dedicated to Barbara Kingsolver, food and environmental activist and author.

I highly recommend listening to “Animal, Vegetable, Miracle” when knitting it if possible.
