Knit Oak Leaves Shawl

This shawl fits like a poncho over the shoulders. It is a great addition to any wardrobe! The shawl is worked in fingering weight yarn, held double.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Materials:
Yarns: Deborah Norville Collection, Serenity Sock Weight (50% Superwash Merino Wool, 25% Rayon made from Bamboo, 25% Nylon; 230 yards/210 meters; 1.76 ounces/50 grams)
• DN150-04 Purple – 8 balls
Knitting Needle: US 10 (6 mm) – 40” circular needle
Gauge: 14 sts – 4” in stockinette st, blocked (gauge is not critical for this shawl)
The shawl is published in the June 2012 edition of Knit ‘N Style, the magazine’s pattern version has the charts as part of the pattern.
