Cute and comfy little knitted bralette.

Beginner friendly pattern and as it only requires between 30 - 60grams of yarn it’s also great for using up your left overs.

You can knit this with either DK (lightweight 3) yarn (see the purple version in the photos) or fingering weight yarn (the orange and pink).
You will only need the 2mm needles if knitting with fingering weight yarn.

Measurements:
When lying flat, from top of straps to the bottom edge and side to side of the bralette, when knitted in a DK yarn, it will measure approx.:
XS: 23cm high x 29cm wide
S: 28cm x 32cm
M: 33cm x 38cm
L: 38cm x 39.5cm
XL: 43cm x 43cm
(approx 1 cm narrower when using fingering weight yarn)

You could knit this in one colour or mix and match with one colour for the rib and a second for the cups - the choice is yours :)

The bralette is knitted as one piece, then the two side edges are hand sewn and the seam will sit down the centre of the back. The straps are knitted as part of the front of the top then sewn on at the back. An optional crochet edge can be added along the back, top edge.

This is a very comfortable pattern that I do wear during the day, but please note that it is not intended to provide support, so I would not recommend using this bralette whilst exercising.
