A simple lace pattern makes this a good transit or knit night project. This cowl is easily adapted to be narrower, wider, or deeper. Directions for a completely customized version are included.
Knit in the round from the bottom to the top with 75-100 grams of sock yarn. Larger needles than usual for a fingering weight yarn insures a light, yet warm, fabric. Heavier weight yarns could be used if desired. Just make sure to swatch first!
This is a classic and useful piece.
Oh, and did I mention, this is completely reversible? Enjoy!

The pattern is written out and charted. It has been fully tested.
