From the pattern:

Now the lengthening twilights hold / Tints of lavender and gold, / And the marshy places ring / With the pipers of the spring. ~Bliss Carman

These mittens were inspired by Art Nouveau, artwork of Alphonse Mucha, the intricate patterns of floral brocades, and the budding of spring blossoms. Knit a pair to celebrate the coming spring!

You will need approximately 110 yards of each colour (more if you use larger needles or gauge), DPNs in size 2.25 mm, a tapestry needle and two scrap pieces of yarn.

All patterns from Hedda Knits have been fully test knit by the designer, and include full colour charts along with the instructions.
