The La Luz trail follows the Sandia Mountains from the base of the mountains to Sandia peak. This hike is especially beautiful in the fall when the aspen leaves are changing color. Although the hike is tough, the views at the top are epic, and there is a tram you can ride down once you get to the top! This sport weight hat uses a mix of twisted ribbing and easy cables to create chevrons mimicking Sandia peak. The mixture of techniques used on this hat makes this an engaging and fun hat to knit!
