This is a large, five sided shawl / wrap. You will construct the central lace panel first and then work the ‘wings’ of the shawl afterwards, which creates opportunities for using contrasting or complementary colours there if you wish. I used 120g of Yak singles in the red shawl shown and it has lovely drape and definition, but any sock yarn would work well as long as you have 120g. I have a triangular stitch to edge the sides of the shawl and I also used it along the bottom edge here, but the pattern recommends the option of a cleaner DC based edge to define the bottom of the shawl, as I think on balance I prefer that.

I hope you like it as much as I do - it is quick to work up.
