This is a sitter size photo props set that has little lace detailing on the front. The lace reminded me of little ferns, so I named this outfit “Fern”!

The romper is a sleeveless tank top style with shortie style legs. All edges are finished and the back has a button closure at the neck.

This makes a beautiful addition to your baby’s photo session. It also is a great gift for baby showers!

Each of my patterns are written with love and with great attention to detail. If you ever have a question or notice a mistake, please contact me!

Size:
- Sitter

200 yds medium (#4) weight yarn (I Love This Yarn ‘Rosy Cheeks’)

Knitting Needles Size US 7
Crochet hook Size G (4.25 mm)
1/2” button

Gauge: 16 st x 24 rws = 4” in Stockinette

Pattern notes:
This romper is worked using provisional cast on to make the straps over the arms. It is then joined in the front and worked flat to the legs. The back is then worked flat to the legs. Legs are also worked flat and then both edges are seamed from the leg up to the armhole. Grafting is used to stitch the hole left between the legs. Single crochet is used for the trim around the neck and around the arms. Crochet chain is used for the buttonhole for the back neck closure.

The pattern for the “Fern” lace stitch seen on the front of the romper is written in the body of the pattern.

Care: Machine wash gentle cycle. Tumble dry low.

Pattern is my own design.
