These ribbed boot cuffs are knit flat and then laced up like a corset in the final step. They’ll add a special funky touch to whatever boots you wear and can even be worn just as legwarmers or spats above your shoes.

The cuffs can be made from any worsted weight yarn. I used one skein of Malabrigo Rios in the colorway English Rose.

A piece of yarn, cord or ribbon can be used to lace up the boot cuffs in the final step. I crocheted a chain out of some Brown Sheep Serendipity yarn I had in my stash for the laces.

The cuffs in the last photo were knit from Plymouth Encore Tweed yarn in the colors Granola (beige) and Hunter (green).

STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES YOU NEED TO KNOW:
You should be able to knit and purl stitches, knit two stitches together (k2tog) and do yarn overs (yo) in order to complete these boot cuffs.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
The boot cuffs measure about 12” around and 8.5” in height. They are however quite stretchy due to the ribbed design and the laces can also be adjusted for a perfect custom fit.
