I love rainbows and I love lace, so I combined the two in this colorful crescent shawlette which is knit sideways with a short row lace edging to give the shawl a slight curve. It can be knit with one skein (700 m) of gradient lace weight yarn and a 3 mm needle or with any combination of yarn and needle.

Finished measurements: 120 cm / 47 inches at the widest point and 100 cm / 40 inches high.

Needles: US 2.5 / 3 mm circular knitting needles.

Yarn: Approx. (700 m / 100 g) of lace weight yarn. The sample was knit in Bilum Hand Dyed Yarns Pukpuk in the color Rainbow.

Gauge: Approximately 28 sts / 4 inches after blocking in stockinette stitch. Exact gauge is not important, however, a looser gauge may mean more yardage is needed.

Notions: One stitch marker, tapestry needle and blocking aids.
