You know that feeling you get when you’re watching Downton Abbey, that it would be kind of fun to live in the show? Well this sweater will help you out with that fantasy a bit more! This pattern is my attempt to bring a little Downton to my own wardrobe, by making a sweater based on the one Lady Sybil wears in season 2.

I’ve photographed it both in 1917 style and in a current style with denim, so you can see how very wearable it is.

Tunic length heavy outerwear-appropriate cardigan with extra-long sleeves, a sailor collar, and toggle-style buttons.
