Inspired by the portrait painted by Leonardo da Vinci this illusion knit measures approximately 120cm high by 93 cm wide when knitted in my fairly tight style using DK yarn and 3.25mm needles. It is designed to be viewed from the side so is ideal for a wall hanging but could also be used as the centre piece for a bedspread or as a throw.
