A beaded version of this scarf is now featured in the book 101 Lace One Skein Wonders by Storey Publishing. Sept 22, 2013 version of pattern has been revised to include instructions for adding beads.

A quick one-skein lace scarf - a garter stitch background hosts snowflakes or stars worked using a variation of the brioche cascade stitch. The scarf is non-rolling, with gently ruffled edges. The scarf is particularly lovely in a mohair lace weight yarn but can be created with any weight yarn. Use needles that are at least 2 sizes larger than the size recommended on the ball band. Simply increase the number of stitches to make a wider scarf. A video tutorial is available at www.verdigrisknits.com.
