An unexpected mix of cozy cables and delicate eyelets cascade themselves over the fabric of this matching hat and cowl set, resulting in a pleasing and serene mixture of shape and texture.

Both files are included in download and note that both files include charted instructions only.

Hat:

Yarn: 150 yards Quince and Co, Lark 134 yards (123 meters) 50 grams (1.76 ounces) per skein (shown in Iceland colorway)
Needles:
• Size 8/5mm and size 6/4mm, 16” circular knitting needles
• Size 8/5mm dpns or long circular for magic loop
Notions: cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving ends.
Gauge: 16sts and 20 rows over 4”/10cm of charted pattern (taken from the eyelet portion)
Finished Sizes (blocked): one size, 18” circumference unstretched, 8.5”/22.5cm deep Note: to add length, it is recommended that you add length in the brim.

Cowl:

Yarn: 2 skeins, 340 yards/310 m Quince and Co, Osprey (shown in Iceland colorway)
Needles: Size 10/6mm and size 11/8mm, 24”/61cm circular knitting needles
Notions:
• cable needle
• tapestry needle for weaving ends
• 2 1“/2.54cm buttons
• needle and thread for sewing on buttons.
Gauge: 12sts and 16 rows over 4”/10cm of charted pattern (taken from the eyelet portion)
