Inspired by the look of latticework fences and decorative enclosures, this cowl features an all-over latticework cable.

This pattern includes instructions for two weights of yarn - worsted and DK.

Gauge for DK version is 32 sts x 30 rows in cable pattern using 3.75mm needles.

It is knitted in the round and requires approx. 180m/200yd of aran/worsted weight yarn or 190m/207yd of DK weight yarn.

You’ll need a cable needle and two sets of circular needles (4.5mm (US 7) and 5mm (US 8)) for the aran weight version. The DK weight uses 3.75mm needles.

Wear it stylishly folded inwards on warmer days for a bit of air around your neck, or straight up to your ears when insulation against the wind and cold are definitely required!

Finished measurements: 22” (56cm) around and 8 1/2” high (21.5cm) (aran version), or 24” (61cm) around and 7” (18cm) high (DK version).

This pattern is free with purchase of yarn from Maniototo Wool but may also be purchased individually as a standalone pattern here.
