This pattern is great for two reasons. 1 – You get to practice the loop stitch. If you don’t know what the loop stitch is, or how to do it, go HERE and you can find the FREE tutorial for it! And 2 – this pillow is so stylish and fashionable, you’ll definitely want to make more than one! This one is my first, and my daughter (she just turned 4!) already stole it for her room. I have a beige one planned for the family room, just as soon as she lets me have a minute to myself! Haha!

You can use any worsted (#4) weight cotton yarn. I used Hobby Lobby’s I love this Cotton, in color Cotton Candy.

This pillow was made because I saw a pillow with long threads in the store. It looked like a 50’s flapper girl’s dress – So of course I wanted to make it with long threads! What’s the easiest way to do that with crochet? Make loops, and cut the loops! Well, this pillow was stolen before I got a chance to cut the loops and make fringe, but I think I like the loops look anyway!

This pillow is worked flat, in rows of loop stitches and single crochets, including the back triangle closing flap and the button hole. When it’s time to seam, you just fold it over, sc up the
