This little kerchief can be worn as a scarf or small, pretty shawl. The body has an eyelet pattern interspersed with springy garter stitch rows. The leaf edging is knit separately and joined at the end. This knit is a wonderful vehicle for your favorite variegated fingering weight wool.

It may be hard to find 3mm needles in the US, as there is no conversion for it, but the closest is US2. You could use US1 if your gauge is loose. As its a kerchief fit is not that big of a consideration.
