The pattern is written in US crochet terminology.

What is needed:

• yarn of your choice
• crochet hook (based on what your yarn requires)
• darning needle if you’d like to weave in your ends
• scissors
• stitch markers

The PDF pattern contains the mosaic chart as well as written instructions with pictures (the pattern is 71 pages). This pattern is meant for intermediate and advanced crocheters who are familiar with overlay mosaic method.

Please note! This pattern will teach you how to crochet the Leafling mosaic design, but it will not teach you how to crochet a specific item. Instead, you can incorporate this design into your own projects. While writing the pattern I crocheted a rectangular shawl (seen in product pictures) which you could crochet as well. I have provided information about my starting chain length as well as the repeats for my shawl.

You will have lots of yarn tails when you are done crocheting your item. If possible, I recommend crocheting an envelope border instead of weaving in all the ends. Instructions for the border are not included in this pattern. If you are crocheting a shawl as I did, you can leave the ends as fringe.
