Knit in fingering/sock weight yarn, this shawl is designed to use those little bits of leftover yarn which are too pretty to part with.

For a different and very beautiful look, one of my testers used ‘leftovers’ as the MC and white for the CC.

Pattern is worked in garter stitch and uses short rows to create the crescent shape.

Yarn
360m / 395 yards sock/fingering weight yarn approximately (Main Colour).
17 x 3-8g leftover bits of sock/fingering weight yarn (Contrast Colours) – please note weight is very approximate and really depends on the type of yarn being used, in my shawl, measured on basic kitchen scales, the main colour used about 350 yds and the contrast colours used weighed between 1 and 6 grams.

Finished measurement
117cm / 46” wingspan
35.5cm / 14” centre width
