This pattern contains directions for a Vest, Pullover and Hat.

An enchanting vertical “leaf framed in diamond” motif highlights both the front and back of the pullover and vest and creates a swoop on the hat as it travels in a gentle spiral. The vest and pullover have an identical front and back making it very easy for those little tots who love to dress themselves.

Pullover has an option for 2 different sleeve types: 1) Afterthought Sleeve and 2) Standard Sleeve. The Afterthought Sleeve is knit separately and attached using an easy running stitch; the armhole trim and top edge of the sleeve then form a curled double border just below the shoulder (shown in 4th photo). The Standard Sleeve (5th photo) is worked from shoulder to cuff from picked up stitches at the armhole; no seaming.

Motif directions are both charted and written out.
