What am I missing?
Lenina
An unusual construction, with it’s sideways knit cables and raised panel seams, this Hat is both interesting and enjoyable to knit.
Previously published in Brave New Knits, this sideways knit Hat is now available to purchase individually. The errata applies to the book version; the individual pattern has been rewritten and re-tech edited.
The individual pattern contains illustrated tutorials on the techniques required to complete this pattern. For the book version, photographic tutorials demonstrating the various techniques are available in PDF format from the tutorial section of my website.

10/9/10:
The finishing section of the pattern should read as follows:
“Hold the two needles parallel in the left hand, with WRONG sides of the two panels together. Use the three-needle bind-off…” Pattern currently says right sides together, which would remove the distinctive ridges.
1/3/11:
The chart is 8 sts short on all sizes, as 2 repeats of the 4 st pattern have been omitted. The written instructions for this aspect are correct.
