The Blue Tit is small, a bit fiddly to make and involves lots of colour changes so I would say that this is an intermediate level pattern. If that hasn’t put you off, then you’re good to go!

You will need:
A 2.5mm hook

Blue, yellow, green, black and white dk weight yarn.

A small amount of toy stuffing for the body.

6mm black safety eyes or domed buttons (or the eyes can be embroidered if preferred).

Jewellery wire - I use dark purple or brown wire that is 0.25mm thick. I work with 4 strands of wire held together so it may be possible to use thicker wire than this if necessary, and just work with fewer strands at a time.

Other tools you will need are a tapestry needle, some scissors and a stitch marker.
