Lileas is an asymmetrical triangle shaped shawl with lace and garter stitch.
We start the work at the top of the center with a garter-like tab. Stitches are increased on every RS rows at the edges and at the center to achieve the traditional triangle shape.
The asymmetrical shape is achieved by several short rows knit in garter stitch.
The sample shawl was made using 2 different yarns (mohair and single ply) in similar colours, but the shawl can be easily knit with 2 skeins of any fingering weight yarn.
Please note that the lace pattern is charted only.

Gauge
22 sts and 30 rows = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Stockinette Stitch knit flat after blocking
