“Lily Of The Valley”

This is a pattern suitable for a beginner knitter wanting to expand slightly and incorporate knitting into the front and back of a stitch, working a yarn over the needle, and knitting 2 stitches together.

Instructions are included in the pattern.

The design has taken its name from one of the plants mentioned in the Outlander story and its shape ties to the name and feeling of a valley landscape in Scotland.

The pattern is seen here in both dk weight and 4ply/fingering/sock weight yarn.
For the DK weight please use the 5mm needle and cast off with the 6mm.
For the fingering weight use the 4mm and cast off with the 5mm.

The need for a gauge isn’t necessary for this design.
It’s been inspired by my love of Outlander, the Scottish Highlands and historical clothing and textiles.
