This pattern includes instructions for how to knit the Linus bonnet by knitting flat on two needles and seaming the back as well as how to shape the bonnet by knitting in the round. You will need two needle sizes for this project.

Materials required:
Fingering weight yarn
Size 4.0mm (US 6) knitting needles (dpns or circulars if you plan on shaping in the round)
Size 4.5 mm (US 7) knitting needles
US D3 (3.25mm) crochet hook for optional border
Yarn needle and scissors
