I love clean lines but I also love to play with interesting textures, the Little Bubbles hat brings together these elements in a fun and modern way. The soft fluffy fabric and squishy bobbles make this hat a treat to knit.

It is worked in the round from the brim up and features a mock cable rib followed by an all over bobble pattern. You can finish the hat off with a pompom of not, the choice is yours. Play around with colours and use the hat as a blank canvas for creating interesting textures and patterns with your yarn.

The sample uses a Cashmere blend yarn but any laceweight fluffy yarn will work. Bobbles are worked over 3 stitches and use a technique which involves knitting backwards to save time. Don’t know how to knit bobbles? That’s ok, this pattern has you covered and includes full instructions as well as a link to learn how to knit backwards.
