Long strolls through grass taller than you with your best friend in tow. Dangling your toes in the pond, watching dragon flies skim the water and catching tadpoles.

SKILL LEVEL: Advanced beginner / Intermediate

NOTES: This item uses both knit and crochet to be worked as shown. The head is worked in crochet and the body is worked in knit for added drape and snugglyness. If you are not a dual crafter I will include instructions for working entirely in crochet. If you work the body in crochet it will be stiffer and thicker, having the same texture as the ears. Note: at this time pattern testers for crocheted body have not turned in notes.

PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS: This pattern is written using American
terminology and is worked in continuous rounds unless otherwise stated. If Bunny is made using the materials described, it will be ~ 28 cm / 11 inches tall from the top of her head to its feet. Crocheting the body will make a larger Bunny, gauge dependent.

SKILLS NEEDED: Single crochet in the round. Crochet magic ring. Crochet increase and decrease. Single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet.

Knit in the round. Using dpns and or magic loop circulars. Increase and decreases. Three needle bind off.

Basic embroidery.

MATERIALS REQUIRED (descriptions in brackets indicate those used in the pictured example):

1. Yarn worsted weight cotton. Bamboo would also likely be nice and snuggly. (Peaches & Cream mc Limerick Twist, cc Rouge Red)

2. Crochet hook in accordance with the yarn you use (3.0 mm to 2.5 mm)

3. DPN longer lengths and circular knitting needles 32-40” in accordance with yarn you use (3.25mm to 3.0mm)

4. Polyester fiberfill

5. Black embroidery thread (Cotton Embroidery Floss)

6. Stitch markers, darning and embroidery needles
