the pattern is written with instructions for a european shoesize 22/23 up to shoesize 46/47.

Materials needed are one 100gr skein of fingering weight. example was made with Alegria from Manos del Uruguay.
And a 20gr miniskein of a contrasting color. (Here also used Alegria.)
