This lace shawl is loom knit as a flat panel on the yellow Knifty Knitter round loom using 38 pegs. The lace pattern is a little tricky, so I suggest that this pattern would work best for an intermediate loomer.

The stitches used include a knit (flat knit or u-knit) stitch and a purl stitch. The pattern includes SSK and explains it completely.

I used two strands of yarn held as one to knit the shawl pictured. However, one could knit this with a single strand of yarn for a more light-weight wrap.

I started out trying to create a pretty, yet warm, lace shawl. But when I had it laid out to dry after blocking it, it dawned on me that it could be used as a table runner too!
