Pattern #7 from A Hobbit’s Journey

The Lord of the Eagles shawl was inspired by The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien.

This shawl was designed for worsted or aran weight yarn. If heavier shawls aren’t your thing than follow the instructions for the larger size using a lighter yarn (fingering or sport) and smaller needles (US6). The resulting shawl should have approximately a 60-65” wingspan post blocking.
