A classic pullover with charming touches of colorwork: lotus flowers in front and around wrists and a vine winding around the left upper arm, also I-cord trim and pretty cable decreases.

This pattern, previously only available with the kit, can now be purchased as a solo pdf. The pattern has been rewritten and reformatted and includes a wider range of sizes.

Construction: Lotus Tee is worked flat in pieces from the bottom and seamed, with set-in sleeves. Shaping at underarms, sleeve caps and neckline is worked using cable decreases. Short rows shape the shoulders. Live stitches on front shoulders are “grafted” to bound-off stitches on back for a seamless-looking yet stable seam. Attached I-cord edges sleeves, hem and neckline.

Finished Sizes: 32 (34, 36, 38, 40, 44, 48, 52)“ chest circumference. Sweater shown measures 36”, worn with 2” ease on model and 0 ease on dress form.

Yarn: Sunday Knits Nirvana 3-ply twig, espresso, charcoal or earth: 5 (6, 7, 7, 8) 50-gm skeins, plus 1 20-gm skein each of: Nirvana berry; Eden curry and rose; and Angelic tomato and wren for colorwork flowers and either Nirvana cedar for colorwork leaves on lighter main colors or Angelic khaki on darker ones. Shown in twig as main color.

Gauge: 26 sts and 35 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch
